I found one on marineengine.com but their 'samples' don't show you much so not sure of quality of the manuals. Also looked at Seloc, but they don't seem to have them for Crusaders. I ordered a comprehensive Crusader MEFI-4 Diagnostic manual ($100) with the new engines in 2003 but I'm not sure what may be availabble in terms of official engine mechanical service publications.

The Crusader site has a link to them (800-220-2700), and parts cn be ordered directly through them or authorized Crusader dealers. If you get any info on availability let us know. Ago-perhaps they quit publishing them. My service manual has a lot of good infor and instruction for replacing anything on the motor. I doubt an aftermarket manual would be as comprehensive. The only thing that works on an old boat.is the Owner.

I wish the photos were in color, and clearer, and that there were more/better drawings, but that's a nit pick. I haven't tried anything major using the manual, but for an owner-operator wanting to keep his engines in good running shape it's more than sufficient in my view.
It's amazing how many specialized tools and supplies are called for. Makes me better appreciate the marine mechanical profession, and wish I had a properly equipped shop! I have my original 1986 manual that came with the boat on purchase, but looking for more to supplement what I have. Rapscallion, I couldn't agree with you more!
