Try not to hate me LOL, but this is the supplement manual being discussed for the 900. This one just popped up on Ebay and I pounced on it. I don't see any others out there right now, but very occasionally they pop up. I thought this was a pretty dang good deal for a book that dealers sell for about $100 usually: My expectation is this book will cover the engine and electrical, and maybe the Edrive clutch, and I suspect very little more than that.I don't think it gets into chassis at all. Edited by Craze1cars, 03 December 2015 - 05:15 PM. Part number 219100731 covers the majority of rest of the XS/XM sled (although I'm not sure about E-drive or the reverse chaincase).

As expected the 900 supplement just covers the 900 engine and electronics.which is why they clearly call it a supplement. But if you want to cover the entire sled you do need to at least buy both the manual and the supplement. And those pop up on occasion on Ebay too.

Here's one that was full price for the paper copy. Or just order from your dealer: My 2009/2010 XR shop manual for my 1200 covers the reverse chaincase. Part number 219100332.

Now do any of these manuals cover R-motion suspension? LOL.I dunno.might need a fourth manual. But I don't care because suspensions are pretty common sense to me.and e-drive is another wild card but again a clutch is a cluch so I don't really need a book for it and never looked into which manual might cover it. Someone else might know. Maybe that part number listed up in post #1? Basically what it comes down to is that you gotta go piecemeal to cover the 900 ACE fully.and you'll probably need to purchase 3 or 4 or maybe even more different books if you're gonna try to do this in book form to have 100% of the machine covered. The days of getting a single 'service manual' book from Ski-doo have gone largely obsolete, because of the computer.

The dealers now get all their info on-line basically by logging onto Doo's mainframe. So the dealers don't even receive these books for their own mechanics anymore. Ski-doo continues printing some of them only for individuals and independent shops who want to pay the silly money for them.but the numbers out in print are WAY down from what they used to be, and thus they're harder to find at a bargain. There are however cheap pirated copies of all of these things available for purchase all over the internet for instant download. It's not hard to get all the info and copies of 3 or 4 books for $10 to $25 each for PDF copies, if you don't want to spring full price and do the legwork to stumble across the hard to find official books, I have done this from several different sources, and they work great.often better than the paper ones in my opinion. All you gotta do is google the part numbers, pick a vendor, buy 'em for instant download, and take your laptop out to the workshop when you need 'em.
