Press and Release the TV button on your Cox remote. Make sure you have the code for your TV hand and then Press and Hold Select and Mute at the same time until the TV button on your Cox remote blinks twice. After the TV button blinks twice, enter the code for your TV using the numerical pad on the remote.

A list of TV codes can be found at the bottom of this webpage. To test if you have programmed your Cox Cable remote to your television, press the Off button on the remote. If your TV turns off, you have successfully synced your remote to your television. If your TV does not turn off, please repeat steps 3 through 6 using a different code for your television.
