I got one from Max BMW - $121.19 in 2014. At the time I had a 14GSA now a 16GS and covers both.

Don't recall if that's where she is or not. 01 59 8 555 666 Also have a Haynes manual - haven't compared any info against the DVD for correctness but good for color diagram of wiring, general information with pics but the black and white pics in the rest of the manual aren't the best quality. The disk is dated 2015 so its current enough for me (got it in mid-2015), I think BMW updates them fairly often and keeps the dealers supplied with the latest version.
That may explain the seller's ability to sell cheaply, he has a source for out-dated disks. At any rate, if they can sell for $25 in Europe, they sure as hell shouldn't be $120 here. Your question about an updating feature, I don't know how that could work with a DVD.?
You would need a new one for each update it seems to me. Did a quick scan, and sure enough found several light pages throughout the book. I found 3 pages, there may be more, but honestly doesn't really detract much from the book overall, just a bit of quality control at the printer I assume.
I purchased mine from Amazon months ago, and was only recently released and shipped. I assume this would be corrected in future printings. Amazon would likely replace if requested without issue, but at this time probably only ship another copy from the current run.
Will probably send an email to customer support to see how they might handle such problems. I do have the rsd disc from BMW, as well as the jvb DVD, so between all these sources I think I'm set.:).
