Re: re: re: re: Siemens ecam service manual October 09, 2014 12:50 Hello Ati, You said an E15? I can only find refrence to an M15 error code. If so, it seems to be an error with the C-Frame. Either there is an Error opening or closing c-frame or a bad or unprogrammed collimator ID. Were you changing collimators when this happened? Sometimes I have had some static discharge erase the CID (little board on the collimator) Can you load just one or the other? - I guess I should ask, how many detectors does your camera have?
Re: re: re: re: re: re: Siemens ecam service manual October 10, 2014 11:32 I would check your reconfiguration latch, possibly it has gone bad/needs cleaning or has a bad switch on it (i would guess the open position switch). I suppose if they are not installed tightly enough, it could also have moved its way out. If that is not the problem, i would remove some covers on the gantry and check the 'pickle fork' as I call it - the one that engages the ring lock mechanism. I guess let us know what you find, be careful in this stage or the equipment, if improper movements take place manually with safety overrides, you can destroy quite a few things (especially the detector cables. Those are no fun to replace) The E25 error is stating ' A serious detector reconfiguration system error has occurred that the firmware cannot recover from on its own' for some repair actions it says 'Correct the mechanical or sensor problem and enter a valid angle through the diagnostics user interface.' It mentions that there could be a couple mechanical problems including the reconfiguration latch, head 2 @ 180 flag, ring locking mechanism, rings locked sensor.

Re: re: re: re: re: Siemens ecam service manual October 09, 2014 03:50 Hi Ati, I agree with Joseph, thats why i thought it was a M15 error rather than a E15, if you have a diagnostic kit, there should be some small jumpers resisters to fool the c-frame that its either opened or closed, if you put one of these in, then you should be able to restore motion, to either fully open or close the c-frame so then you can further investigate the problem, is the c-frame moving, is the c-frame motor making a noise, you may have a broken gear pin etc Michael Batten +44 7736 319263.
